How We Will Aid Hunger and Poverty
The World Bank Organization describes poverty as: “Poverty is hunger. Poverty is lack of shelter.” Poverty is linked to human rights such as the access to social security. Despite the fact that the provision of adequate food is a basic human right, hundreds of millions of people still are starved. One of the fundamental reasons for undernourishment is poverty and increasing inequality. Poverty diminishes or disregards right access to adequate food, shelter, health, potable water, and education, along with many other things.
We are a group of senior highschool students filled with passion and determination from Taguig Science High School with an Academic Track of ABM believe that every problem has its own prepossessing and tactile solution. Some of us experienced different kinds of battles, challenges and hardships in our lives. Therefore we decided to lend a hand, be a voice and help those people who are in need. We believe that poverty and the people who are currently facing and suffering from it shouldn’t be forgotten. We will work with participants, advocacy volunteers, partnerships, and state allies, to lobby for policies, programs, and legislation that alleviate poverty and hunger.

Fund-Raising Project
The primary goal of this advocacy is to provide meals for those in need. The food we will be providing is known as "P&P" or "Pantawid-Packs." Our targeted audience, or those who will get food packages, are the informal settlers who live near/along the railway at PNR Bicutan Station. It is made up of items that will help them fight hunger and provide food for a month. This will assist them in saving money for the month and using it for basic needs or additional costs.
